You tried, and it shows. While it is obvious that it is a first flash, it is better than some of the first flashes other people submit. You had some interesting concepts, and the pacing was fairly decent. I would say improve on graphics, animation, and try not to re-use animations just because it's the chorus. In any case, keep at it and good luck.

Well, it's ok for a beginning game, but the collision detection wasn't working properly, couldn't always pick up the items. The movement seems sloppy. The music loop got old very quick, and there is no limits on where you can move. Fix these bugs and expand on it some more.

The animation has improved greatly from step 1 to step 2, the artwork has gotten better, but not as noticeable as the animation. More fbf and cleaner tweens, there is also more of it, whereas the first one has some stills, this one has more flow. Sure, the artwork may not be as great as Bitey's, but it fits along with the story and overall mood. It is still a fantastic movie. The thing that gets me with this one is the music, I prefer the first one better because of the music. This music fits it, but step 1 just sets a mood that this one does not. This is still up there in the greatest movies on newgrounds, and it shows. Keep up the outstanding job.

I believe this is seriously the greatest movie on newgrounds. The animation is very clean and well done, a mixture between fbf and tweens. The art is well drawn, the lack of color adds a certain cartoony element to the movie that fits very well. The story is well done and explained and presented extremely well so it's easy to understand what's going on without being able to understand the music. The music fits this all too perfectly, it's amazing, I'm not one for this type of music but this song is great. There's also some great humor thrown in here. This is hands down the best animation, In my opinion this is better than step 2. It deserves the #1 spot.

Great artwork. It lacks a story/description. Animation is also somewhat lacking, but I guess you meant it with the hand-drawn backgrounds? The art grabbed my attention, I was expecting more of a story though. I'm not sure if this is NG material...it was lacking...something....
